Re: Arcael
Once again Rock, you show a great talent in taking Outlanders and making them something more in the Demiplane! I didn't quite realize that Arcael was in the Chibiloft stuff, so that was a nice surprise. I only hope that Chibiloft still keeps its humorous tone even with its connection to the greater Rock Expanded Ravenloft Universe. Also, I was kinda rooting for that elven guardsman until he started using less ethical means of persuasion. Just when I think there's someone who isn't all bad, you pull this on me . Ah well, at least Arcael is her own fleshed out character and not a satellite/ancillary character to Traven. It'll be interesting to see her and him more in upcoming QtRs or other posts!

Re: Arcael
Well, the Chibiloft characters' expanded background won't be shown 100% in the comics. Those are meant to be a bit of fun. Of course, if someone's keen to use them... they're there.
Janius is a bit of a jerk. I mean, he was cool with courting one woman when another was still pining for him, and he didn't go out of his way to warn Arcael or stop her from cutting his old lover to ribbons. How he ended up was pretty much due to him. But you know, this is Ravenloft... where people rarely stay dead. Who knows what might happen?

I'm glad to see more Dragonlance characters, especially since the most famous one, Vlad Drakov, seems to have been "de-dragonlanced".

Re: Arcael
Taladas didn't feature in the main tales most people know, so that's not too surprising. ^_^ (Also, White Wolf had to dance around copyrights.)

Re: Arcael
I love both caracters, great DL background.
It's original that they meet again later, and the way you did it was clever

Re: Arcael
It's implied by the levels in Knight of the Thorn but not specifically stated under the Statistics header that Arcael is a specialist diviner via the KotT class feature, in addition to a specialist enchanter. KotT is the only way I know of to be fully considered a specialist without gaining prohibited schools. Nightmare Spinner comes close, but while you get some specialist features (like the specialist spell slots), you aren't considered a specialist.

Re: Arcael
That is correct, as can be read when following the KotT tag.
