I'm planning on running House of Lament for a party of 5-6 in a few weeks. Two players are new (one totally new to D&D, one has played one or two one-shots but I've never DMed for them), and the rest have been my players for 5 years and have gone through CoS. We're just hoping to do a fun one or two shot, not continuing this as a campaign.

It sounds like there are three options of who to contact during the seances, and the DM picks, leading to three different endings. I am definitely intrigued by Mara's ending with the Entity but also think my players would want to help Theodora and the kids. Is there any way to contact more than one spirit or link the endings together? Or what ending did you play through when you played or ran the game?
