More poking about the huge cavern turns up several areas of possible interest: a wide dais atop which stands a massive idol, a sunken plaza where strange looking weeds grow amid the rubble, a barred-off cavern, and a camp with stores. The campsite seems abandoned now, but appears recently used.
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

-from Moby Dick (Hermann Melville)
