It is just that Raen doesn't want to go back to the mists. That's the only "red line" I see as a player.
That wont be a problem. neither does Kat, and Klokulf has put it well back.

Kat will try to find Raen again after the heat dies down, but I'm not sure that will be easy. She'll have to wait till he's left Phlan, and she doesn't have a network to find him.

That said, once he hears the description of the Velvet Glove thief, he'll have a pretty good idea why she's making herself scarce! That's exactly the kind of idle rich playground she like to mess with.

I have put up an epilogue thread.
Everybody should feel free to do one last post, there.
I'll then add my own post at the end and cap the thread.

RE Next game:

I have some paid writing work to do and I want to finish that project before I run anything again, tabletop or online. That will be at least a month.

But I'd be very happy to join a Ravenloft game if somebody started one. I certainly still have time for that.

If you guys are interested, I will run this.

If people are not available or interested, no worries.

I'm guessing Alhoon must still be very busy. Is that right?

Gameplay begins on the 1st of Mirtul.

This far north, spring brings cold rain, hail, sleet, fogs, alternating with sunny and warm days.
Lot of mud on the roads out of town.
Icepacks have broken up (the Moonsea is freshwater, BTW). Ships are sailing again.

Mirtul is equivalent to May on our calendar.

This means it has been over five months since the last game.

Anyone who played in the previous campaign is welcome to join.
If you are worried that your PC won't fit but still want to play, let me know. I will work with you.

New people can also join.

Feel free to post.

The basic setup involves an expedition Klokulf has been planning (mentioned in the epilogue of the previous adventure arc).
Kat has been asked to come by to discuss plans.

I will let you guys move ahead from here, interjecting material where needed and answering questions.

Based on IC and PMs/OOC, it looks as if everybody ought to roll a Gather Info skill check.
