I wonder if Alia can shoot over the dwarf? That might depend on the shape and slope of the tunnels/caverns and on the size of the target.

But yes I agree, we can't plan everything now, there are too many parameters we can't count all.

I don't know if Alia can shoot over Isidar since I have Isidar height on her sheet while I have neither of those things Alia on the sheet I have

. So I guess some one needs to tell me so I can fill it in and tell if she could just shoot over Isidars head .

I have posted this here for future reference so there is no confusion on any one's part in knowing how far someone may be able see based on what type of light source they are using etc.

Light source's:

Torch/Everburning torch/Light Spell: All provide bright light out to 20 feet radius and further 20 feet beyond that provides Shadowy Illumination . Duration:Torch 1 hour/Light Spell 10 minutes per caster level/ Everburning Torch :Forever until dispelled or over come by more powerful darkness .

Sun Rods Provide Bright Light to 30 Feet Radius and another 30 feet beyond that providing Shadowy Illumination . Duration:6 hours .

Lantern's come in at least two types in the PHB .
Lantern Hooded performs as a Sun Rod for the purpose of how much light it provides .
Duration:1 pint of oil last 6 hours .
Lantern, Bullseye :Only have a single shutter that focus it in a 60 cone of bright light and another 60 feet of shadowy illumination beyond that .
