Dalorna says to Alia-

''Calm down, please.''

"Well, child...the dust does not have a high enough concentration for me to properly discern what exactly it is. Which gives me reason to believe that you are not in any danger. At the first sign of any irritation or discomfort you must let me know."

She recovers her poise and bows to Dalorna

A thousand apologies Magistra for the unseemly display, but your humble servant is unused to the rigors of the delve, and has heard many tales of the grisly fates that reside therein. I beg your forgiveness for the delay

Dalorna just nods.

''Yes, well, um, I'm pretty sure you are going to be okay- but let me know if you begin to feel unwell. "

The young lady begins to look around the room.

Hobb hops from her right shoulder to her wrist and back again, cawing and flapping his wings.

''Bad hole, bad hole! Nasty worms! No like!"

As Sara steps through the door way into the small 10' by 10' room that looks like it had seen better days considering the layer of dust on everything . It has small desk directly opposite the door . With several scrolls cases laying on it . Some are open others are closed . In the northern corner of the room is small safe . There is also small wardrobe in the northwest corner of the room that is closed at the moment . There is the remains of a jacket on the back the chair that is behind the desk .

As Sara steps through the door way into the small 10' by 10' room that looks like it had seen better days considering the layer of dust on everything . It has small desk directly opposite the door . Dalorna enters and looks around the room- not touching anything but the floor.

''An office, you think? These caves were supposed to be a working mine, in past times, so maybe this was the mine's office? The prior occupant seems to have left his jacket..."

She waves a hand towards the ragged cloth hanging from the back of the chair by the desk.

''Ah, and some scrolls! There may be something useful written there. We'd best be careful with those scrolls- they may be very old."

She gets closer to the desk. She peers at the dusty old scrolls.

Parchment or paper?

The scroll after being being looked at closer are made of parchment . The words on them seem to be somewhat faded though . What shape they are in, well someone would have to pick them up and examine them directly just by looking at them seem in reasonable shape .

Dalorna leans in close to the desk top, and tries to read the scrolls.

''Hmmm...I can't make it out. Professor, could you take a look at this?''

[VAN]

Sara looks at Dalorna and says:

"When you finsihed with the scrolls if you can check teh drowers as well Dalorna."

Then she gets closer to safe and says:

"I will check the safe and the wardrobe."

Alia positions herself looking out of the door, bow spanned and loaded, keeping a close eye on the corridor for any more crawling horrors

Dalorna leans in close to the desk top, and tries to read the scrolls.

''Hmmm...I can't make it out. Professor, could you take a look at this?''

Huln steps closer to Dalorna and looks over her shoulder at the scrolls.
"What, pray tell, are you?" he says to no one in particular. "Allow me, my dear." He reaches for the scrolls and handles them gently.

[Roofdrak]

"It looks as though you have the safe under control, Sara. I will check the wardrobe."

[Roofdrak]

Nothing here but old clothes.

Isidar walks over to Sara. You seem to be having trouble opening the safe. Is there some way I, or my hammer, can help you?

[VAN]

"Maybe, I have try to open it for 2 minutes using all my technique and nothing. Do try to break it if you want Isidar."

Turning to Dalorna asks:

"Is there a way to open it with magic? Or that magic is responsible for that?"
