Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
I will hold off on an update for now.I don't want to shift scene before Zilfer posts, in any event.
You all should feel free to RP as you like.
Or, I might suggest, do some OOC planning about your new mission/ job. That could speed the action in play.
But do as you please.

This is the best you could roll.
Fild would also try to ask rodents whether there were big men in attendance, waiting like a cat on the hunt. He will bribe them with cheese.

Find out why those thugs attacked Aldron Folbre.
If someone sent them, find out that person's identity and motive.
He's not specifically asking you to squash the gang, but nothing he has said suggests that he would object to rough treatment of the thugs.
But please note that are not being hired as assassins. Rather, what we would call private detectives.
Basically, get the desired results by the means that seem best to you.
And he has approved of the suggestion made by PCs that you operate off the books, as " unknown allies."

Do we have access to the arrested thug off the books? Cause Waltzing in the watch and dropping Aldron's name for the investigation puts us in the radar as his allies...

Better figure out another way to do it.
Also, you have no definite information that that guy was arrested.
After all, he was knocked out, robbed, stripped, and tied up in an alley.
Nobody stuck around to give a witness statement.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
I think we should start from the attacking spot first. I have already rolled track for Gem.
We can also see if the thug is still there and then ask if he was arraested or his friends came back to release him. We shoud also check the alley for clues, they may have dropped something.

Let's start from that point. He may still be there or gone.

Coolios.

Well, Fild will just check around and ask rodents, but if we move away, he'll follow.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
While we let the others catch up, time for some setting development:
POVERO
The Abbrontes
(Described upthread)
Chrysopoleon
(Described upthread)
Ruscellon
( also known as Rio Rico)
A city-state with an oligarchic government of mine magnates and landowners.
Home of Count Arnault, the "Coin Collecting Count."
Sharp divide between rich and poor.
Gnomes live in a Ghetto.
Also point of origin for some PCs.
The Tanglewood
A temperate jungle near Ruscellon, inhabited by elves and other sylvan races , many wild beasts.
Unless Van says otherwise, her PC's Elven parent came from here.
Ferrantio
(Discussed upthread)
The Giants Hedge
Note: No finished regional map yet. But don't worry, the action does not require that yet.
Credit where credit is due:
POVERO and Ferrantio come straight from P N Elrod's modules/adventures.
Of course I am modifying and further developing both cities.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Yeah I'm still alive, if I'm reading correctly it sounds like he wants it dealt with? We might not need to go within the bounds of the law to get it accomplished, while arresting people and such usually works as a solution sometimes cracking skulls can accomplish the same thing. xD I am getting the sense that is more along the road the party seems to be wanting to take? Save for perhaps the Wizard? xD

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
I am kinda lost here. I thought we left the tavern and went to the alley already, while there was still some light to investigate.
