Tiberius is a foreigner. However for the sake of adventure and making things smooth we can change that. I will leave that up to Jmaytr.
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.

kintire, if it fits your background, I'd like the 'young acolyte' to be Lyrana.
Sounds great!

Lyrana is from a moderately prosperous family but nothing special. She is a bit of a misfit in the temple, however, and on slightly tense terms with her family as she somewhat resents the clear signal that she is less valuable than her brother. It is not unlikely she might associate with the less legitimate crowd!

Every town has jobs that are not what you would call "glamorous." Someone has to muck the stables. Someone has to change the chamberpots. And, someone has to dig the graves. Herman Whittle is that man. Not that he has any complaints, mind you. The bastard son of a prostitute from Ogre Alley abandoned at the steps of the Church of the Eternal Rest could certainly have turned out much worse than a fellow with an honest job and a reasonable living. And, if we're being honest, Herman doesn't particularly care for living people all that much anyway. Showing the recently deceased to their eternal reward suits him. And, if the occasional unfortunate should..."donate" their remains to a good cause like a local surgeon's education and Herman can make a little coin on the side, so much the better. To tell the truth, most people don't particularly enjoy spending time with Herman either, as the slightly portly, unkempt man's constant grin and muttering under his breath leads to him spending most of his nights alone at a corner table in Ogre Alley, sipping at an ale and reflecting on the dead.
VIEW CONTENT:
The truth of his parentage is stranger than Herman knows. He was sired by a dark stranger who blew into and out of town seemingly for the purpose of creating his progeny. His mother would remember for the rest of her days the cold feel of the stranger's skin and the black tint of his eyes while she plied her trade. As such, she couldn't stand the thought of taking care of the product of such a union, leading to her dropping him at the church. Herman knows very little of this, but he has begun to suspect that his "quirks" may be due as much to his ancestry as his own strange personality and isolation. He has begun to manifest some magical ability, and has found himself almost feeling a connection, a relationship with the dead. He's very interested to see where these powers take him.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Since I'm not familiar with Pathfinder I would like to be related to another PC so will be easier for me to do the background. Maybe I can play the brother Roceater said at the post. Just let me know :)

Haven't decided a pic yet but the one Ewan posted is really cool for a fighter. I will definitely play human and good alignment.

It is a nice picture, yeah.

Large shield, chainmail shirt, longsword?

That's what I'd peg it as.

Some leg armor, but it's hard to say what the splints are made of. Might count as good old 'hard boots'?

OK rolling for stats:

[dice]0[/dice]
[dice]1[/dice]
[dice]2[/dice]
[dice]3[/dice]
[dice]4[/dice]
[dice]5[/dice]

Why I'm not surprised... somewhat low stats but at least none bellow 10

You can also use heroic point buy (20 pts) for stats. I actually prefer this method but since I didn't specify earlier, rolls are also fine

I'm considering playing a ranger instead of a fighter since Roceater will play the fighter.

Naw, those aren't low.

They are mostly high or average.
Don't forget-- you only need a 12 to get a bonus in 3e! The same is true in PF.

Also, there's yet more power creep in PF.
A human PC gets a +2 to any one score of the player's choice.

I used mine to turn a 10 INT into an 12.

Fun fact: JMaytr once played a wizard with a 3 CON.

yeah those are fairly good scores. even for a ranger. Ewan is right, in Pathfinder, even humans get a bonus. As Ranger use wisdom, you could make your 14 a 16. thats +3 and at first level not shabby at all. MOst stuff at 1st level have between 13 and 17 AC so with a ranger, you got a base attack +1, and with a 12 in Str or Dex thats another +1. with feat selection, point blank shot or weapon focus can bring another +1 to your attack depending on weapon. so that +3 in that example has you hitting the low AC with a roll of 10. so again pretty good at 1st level.

Now for rangers in this region, there are a lot of big game animals, some goblinoids, and giants (ogres and trolls). there are very few demons, but they do pop up. Undead are my favorite monster, but not many have been seen in the region. The northern Oyapok city of Outpost has been conquered by an ancient black dragon who turned it into a vast, acidic swamp.

hopefully that helps. Point buy might get you closer to your desired stats so feel free to use that if you want.
