You are aware that they have the kal-muru in the Vaults of Pandius too?
What do you not like with their versions?

The VoP conversion is fine for starters, but if there's any monster that's begging to be given the Mists subtype in translation, it's that one. Making them into Mistborn rather than just elementals isn't a big shift, by any means; I just haven't gotten around to doing it myself yet.
Heck, if you've got a spare ten minutes, why not you do it, Giamarga? Get your name on the NS credit-list!

I think I'm already on it, I have done some work on Monette with Joel.Rotipher of the FoS wrote:Heck, if you've got a spare ten minutes, why not you do it, Giamarga? Get your name on the NS credit-list!
Anyhow being a stickler for detail it would probably take me much longer than 10 minutes. I might still try it though. No promises if anyone else wants to do it, go ahead. Monsters are not my forte.

I may have a belated entry myself, fellows. Who would I contact about that?
Oh, and speaking of belated entries, Rotipher, I sent you the email you requested, but haven't heard back. Let me know what's up, I'm itching to get to work!!!

I just e-mailed you a draft of my kal-muru and white-fang conversions. For the kal-muru, I combined the elemental type and air/mist subtype, leaving it to the DM to decide whether the creature is Mistborn or Fugued. Let me know what you think. I'm open to suggestions...Rotipher of the FoS wrote:The VoP conversion is fine for starters, but if there's any monster that's begging to be given the Mists subtype in translation, it's that one. Got it. The stats look great at a first skim-through, TwiceBorn! I'll e-mail you with any changes I make, to help fit them into the Nocturnal Sea as it's been taking shape.
The encounter-examples you wrote are neat, but a little on the long side, BTW. If you don't mind, I may jot some generic "Suddenly a so-and-so pounces..." tidbits for the netbook, so that you can pass yours on to Mangrum's Teeny Tiny Tales of Terror instead. That's a more appropriate and exciting place for them than under a stat-block, IMHO.

Sounds good... and yes, I know, I can be a little on the long-winded side sometimes...Rotipher of the FoS wrote:Got it. The stats look great at a first skim-through, TwiceBorn! I'll e-mail you with any changes I make, to help fit them into the Nocturnal Sea as it's been taking shape.
