Dominica, in the nicer parts of the city as the sun goes down-

It hasn't proved difficult to secure a place inside the cathedral for the coronation, not after flashing a writ of nobility-- and a little cleavage--under the nose of the stuttering young clerk in charge of the list.

Walking around the better parts of Haes in the evening, Dominica notices the lustful stares of men, envious sideways glances of women-- and the clumsy attempt at shadowing made by two strangers on her trail.

The pair of men, overdressed bravos with brutish looks that fancy clothes cannot hide, reel along behind her at about half a block's distance, doing a bad job of acting drunk.

Both wear rapiers.

Roald runs to the nearest entrance and attempts to kick down the door.

He kicks it hard-- but the door is solid built and probably barred on the other side. It creaks in its frame, but doesn't break open.

The Auld Oak-
RocEter wrote:"Sit down." Is all the Huntsman has to say when half the men reach for weapons. He stares back waiting for some one to say something..

And old-timer sitting by the hearthfire cries out-

''The Huntsman!"

"Oh so the "Huntsmen" shows his face at last ."Gunnar says in amusement at the reaction of rest of the rest of those in the inn as he stands up to go get the some of his gear from his horse on the "Huntsmen" saying that more enemies are coming . He goes bye the Huntsmen without word as he goes to get the gear that he has brought to the town for a normal visit .

Seeing Baubb fleeing Filbert yells:

"He is fleeing." Then tries to get his clothes that are on fire off and rolls to the floor.

Devlin stabs at the man's heart, but the tip of his rapier strikes something under the clothes and skids to the left. The bright particolored doublet falls open to reveal a painted porcelain and wood torso, like a doll's body. No blood, just a thin scratch in the paint.

Filbert-

As Filbert rolls to smother the flames, he hears something big smash into the door facing the street...

Filbert pats down the last of the flames and listens for Baubb's footfalls, or any noise to indicate the man's route of escape.

He thinks he hears something behind the interior door by which Baubb had enetred the room a short time ago, a door which is now closed.

Looking about for the man he's chasing, Roald sees no other obvious exits. The counter and a tall cabinet on the far wall might offer hiding places.

Devlin brings his off hand up, tearing a long gash in the masked thing's wooden torso with his main gauche.
