Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Gertie will attempt to advance and whip a pirate.
She isn't much for killing, but she's not happy about these guy's apparently setting fire to an inhabited building, and just walking off from the scene with the woman and child.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
She actually whipped one of them.
1d2
[dice]0[/dice]
/2
Round up for 2 points damage.
Damien will climb walls to help the woman down, if he can...
[dice]1[/dice]
[dice]2[/dice]
solid success on Climbing up
Now he can attempt an STR check to grab and hold. Not attack-- she's cooperating fully.
Lower is better.
[dice]3[/dice]
Solid.
He can try to come down with her next round.
What is everybody else doing?
To recap:
Fild and Tom rescued the kiddo.
Damien is in the process of rescuing the woman.
Gertie attacked the pirates with her whip.

They are mostly unarmored and he is coming from behind.Adam wrote:[dice]226967:0[/dice] attack roll
It hits.

Plus one, as this is a bullet (he's using gear issued by Watch, yes?)
Doesn't KO the guy, but definitely hurts him.

Alfonse actually fired just ahead of GERTIE.
But any further shooting may count as firing into melee, unless the shooter gets quite close.

Coolios.
Bullets do a bit more damage.
1d4+1 instead of 1d4

AC 10 unarmored pirates and AC 8 or 9 (leather, padded) piratesAdam wrote:I just thought that I missed, is all. Lulz.
From behind for plus 2
So a 10 is actually not a bad roll.

She impulsively dashed out, getting in the way of Sixt's dart toss. But he has time to move round and engage the pirate's in melee, rather than risk throwing into the fray.

That guy is probably going to die. Definitely out of the fight.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Three of four pirates injured, one likely a mortal wound.
The last one is skeedaddling!
If he drops his loot, he loses encumbrance.
Based on Varrus' IC post about engaging pirates:

Oops
To hit fumble
[dice]1[/dice]
No fumble, just a clean miss. Air ball. Or mace.
I will wait for Metaflux to post before going further.

Next round, since the battle is won, Fild will try to help the woman in the burning house, with Tom if he's available.
