IIRC (and I could well be NOT recalling correctly), modifiers are big, too big for my tastes. How about we go for half the modifiers?

Hmm, yeah, I think you may be right.

I will give it some thought.

There is also a less extreme and less finicky set of modifiers by weapon type (B/P/S) as an option in the 2E PHB.

He didn't want to, but was informed that his classes would not continue until he spent at least one year "abroad." It's been a few months on the road when they arrive in Provero, and I'll let you decide what you think of Alfonse, but let's say he doesn't go out of his way to make friends with you.
Sounds like Damien would probably avoid Alfonse mostly out of not understanding a few of the larger words he uses? :) Other than that he probably doesn't have a problem with the scholarly man. Though he'd be curious as to why out of all people he choose to go with them.
You should see the other parties he had to choose from.

Somehow Shepherd Book ended up on Serenity. We don't question these things.

Indeed!

Alfonse may get on with Varrus's cleric. We shall see.

And we will see about JMatyr.

Indeed.

Okay more game news:

SHEETS
Please send me your character sheets when you are ready with them.
I will save copies. You should obviously save copied, too.
Myth weavers is great, but use the format that works for you. A Word file would be dandy.

SUMMARY
At JMatyr's suggestion, I will include periodic summary posts , with a very brief rundown of recent events. I think I will place these in
VIEW CONTENT:
spoiler boxes
.
Most of the time these will be at the beginning of new chapters.

Thoughts?

Looks good, but check number of weapon Proficiencies.

I see that he has his starting NWPs, plus four bonus slots from high INT, plus a skill from the " no kit" benefit.

How many's it supposed to be? Went by the class description that just said they start with those four weapon proficiencies.
