Since my own campaign has been on hiatus for some months now, I'll instead describe the Star Wars campaign I'm playing in presently:

Leto Omak - male Zabrak, Scoundrel 4:

Captain of the Joker's Dagger, a small smuggling freighter. Think of Han Solo's more obnoxious moments, then multiply that by 10. He's deeply in debt to Gardulla the Hutt, and hired on to transport a couple of Jedi around after they promised the Republic would take care of it.

Xancha - male Jawa, Scoundrel 2/Tech Specialist 2:

This is my character. First mate on the Joker's Dagger. Not a very trusting little guy, but cautious and resourceful. Droid-obsessed like all Jawas, but actually competent enough to build them in good working order.

Lon Drochma (sp?)- male Kel Dor, Jedi Consular 4:

The tactician and speaker for our group. Despite being only a padawan, he talks big and has acquired a reputation for unorthodox tactics and creative solutions. But just as obnoxious as Leto.

Tilos - male Nautilan, Jedi Guardian 4

This is the guy we all hide behind while he tears everything up with his lightsaber. He's pretty standard in his tactics, but works well with Lon and considers himself the guardian of the group.

We also have a couple droids that Xancha has put together:

Gonk: A heavily modified EG-6 power droid. Essentially a big battery on legs, except that he has no legs. Therefore, Xancha grafted the wheels of an R2 unit onto it. Also, it has a small ion cannon hidden inside it, modified so that it can also stun humanoids. Hasn't developed much of a personality yet because its droid brain is too simplistic.

R2D10: An astromech that's aggressive to the point of sociopathic. Xancha has had to fit it with a restraining bolt to keep it from attacking Gonk, and removed its arc-welder so that it can't hurt anybody if Xancha's not around to activate the restraining bolt.

I'm told that another player is going to join us, and he's some kind of synthetic. I'll update if/when he joins.

You've been watching too much Monty Python.
"Arrogant mortal! You are in my world now and you will never leave this attic alive! I will destroy you, and then I will possess she whom you love the most. And there is not a single thing in the world you can do to stop me!"

Not really... but I have an aversion against small animals since a guinee pig
vomitted on our old Hero Quest table...

Quite a catharsis-like event for me, because it *convinced* me to start real P&P rpgs, now that the table was barely usable anymore...

Gonk has now been outfitted with a destroyer droid's shield generator, making him even more insane. Gonk the Destroyer will conquer the known galaxy!

Also, we picked up a couple of Super Battle Droids that we captured while defending the planet Kamino from invasion. Somehow they developed personality quirks: One droid is fiercely loyal and follows Xancha all over the ship, and the other is so polite and tries so hard to be friendly that our GM called him "the Threepio of battle droids." Name suggestions for these two are welcome. :)

Ok, this is an old thread... but I really wanted to play too. ^_^

Ravenloft: Jhudora Ellanor Darkraven (Zarovan Vistani/ level 19)

Duel weilding sabres and wheel lock pistols. She's the party's arsonist. Making all sorts of strange holy water, silver wolf'sbane and other assorted bombs. Level 8 fighter, level 3 Pistoleer, level 7 Holy Liberator, level 1 Pious Templar. Quite the prestige junkie. Her celestial companion is a platinum colored ferret named Auron. Only reason we're so high in level is because my friend Alise played with some deck and drew the sun card like 3 times, got 40,000 XP everytime she did. Pretty sweet way to level up. Except now we're going through Darkon towards Necropolis and fighting undeadish werewolves to get there. x_x;; Fun stuff.

Wheel of time: Esmerelda Da Noir "Ezra the Black" (Wilder/ level 9)

Only got to play her for three sessions. Her pickpocket was disgusting. If I wanted it outta your pocket, it was mine. Her hide wasn't too bad either... now ya see me, now ya don't. Had to end the session cause our Healer kept either bailing or falling asleep during the sessions.

D&D, Sea Faring Campaign: (Selkie, Bard/ level 1)

Brand new campaign. Haven't even come up with a name yet. Any advice on playing a bard? I have never done it before.

:) You're very welcome, J!

If you like, submit one of your Ravenloftian characters to our NPC - Netbook. :) (Check the Ravenloft Projects boards, if you like.)

I'd love to submit Jhudora to your netbook. =) For now I have to see how the campaign runs and if she changes any... her history is really in depth... to the point that I have a Live Journal that I update after each session (when I remember) with what happened from her POV and any history things that I come up with... www.livejournal.com/users/dreamlessnights incase anyone wants to read it. Hopefully by January I should have something good to put in there. ^_^

You should definitely submit to the netbook! It's gonna be cool! 8)

Well, as a break from the Mists, I'm now running my own Star Wars campaign! Here are the players I have now:

Liaklanna - female Wookiee, Soldier 1/Tech Specialist 1:

Liaklanna, or "Autumn Roar" in her native language, took up her brother's ryyk blades after he was killed while hunting. Although she respected her father's wishes and stayed out of direct combat in the Clone Wars, she trained in secret, and after she escaped from the Empire's slavery, she took up those blades and began looking for contacts to join the Rebel Alliance. In her spare time, Liaklanna builds droids and blasters out of spare parts, hoping to resell them for a profit.

Torin Koon - male Kel Dor, Scoundrel 2:

Possibly a distant relative of the Jedi Master Plo Koon (but maybe not, he's not sure), Torin is a bounty hunter hopeful who has only taken on about three jobs so far. He found himself on the same passenger liner with Liaklanna, traveling from Nar Shadaa to Ord Mantell, when hijackers attempted to take over the ship. After defeating the hijackers and saving the passengers, Torin and Liaklanna became business partners. Torin lives life in the fast lane, always taking risks and seeing how much he can get away with.

Maj-odo - male Cerean, Jedi Guardian 2:

Maj-odo has spent most of his young life on the planet Nagi, where he and his Master were stranded by the Jedi Purge. Maj-odo became fast friends with Sin Shai, a promising young Nagai who also trained as a Jedi. The two became brothers in all but blood. Eventually their master sent them out into the galaxy, but first he gave to Maj-odo his most prized possession, an ancient Jedi Holocron by which he could continue to learn the ways of the Jedi. Maj-odo and Sin were to guard the Holocron with their lives.
Recently, Maj-odo was involved in a swoop crash on the planet Bonadan, and has received intensive treatment in the local hospital, where he has yet to regain consciousness.

Sin Shai - male Nagai, Jedi Guardian 2:

Sin Shai, oath-brother of Maj-odo, is a promising young Jedi apprentice and a hotshot pilot. Captain of the Burninator, a Phoenix Hawk-class light pinnace, Sin has partnered up with Torin and Liaklanna at the request of Xancha (see my post above :D ), whom his master had told him to seek out as a reliable contact in the galaxy. Worried sick about his brother, Sin now struggles with conflicting emotions, and cannot decide whether to continue following the ways of the Jedi or abandon them.

Karas - male Sarkan, Force Adept 2:

When Karas was out walking through the canyon near his hut one day, he had no idea the "meteor" he saw streaking through the sky toward him would change his life so completely. That "meteor" turned out to be a jettisoned escape pod containing two Jedi Knights, something Karas had never seen before and was told no longer existed. Those Jedi, who told Karas he had the potential to become a Jedi himself, enlisted his help in breaking their ship free of Imperial impound, and thus began the greatest adventure of Karas's life.
Karas, though not as xenophobic as most of his race, had never left his home city before, let alone his planet. Now, he follows the Jedi around the galaxy, as well as their new friends Torin and Liaklanna.

^_^ I'll make sure to do that on Sunday or Monday when I come back from NERO (New England Role Play Organization) this weekend. I have a great tavern NPC named Charlie, I think he'll be my first submission since Jhudora is still fighting the good fight. =)

I've started playing a tiefling character in a FRCS campaign.

He's mostly twink and there is little story to him, because that's what the DM is like mostly. :)

He's a Rogue6/Ftr4, dual-wield dexterity build.
He's lightning fast, crazy and albino. (And he has 6 fingers)
