3E Witches and Warlocks

Post by LouisVendredi »

Could anyone point me to 3E stats for the Witch and/or Warlock character class for 3E (including Weave spells). I am aware of the Witch PrC, but is there a resource for creating a non-prestige Witch character?

Thanks all.

I don't think there's a core class for Halan Witches. :?

The typical Halan witch is a cleric/sorcerer (or favored soul/sorcerer, if you prefer), while the typical warlock is a cleric/wizard...
In Van Richten Arsenal there's an extremely powerful PrC, the Hallowed Witch.
The class, strangely enough, proves quite balanced (it did in my game...).

Ok. Well then my NPC Witch is on the right track as she's a 4th level Sorceress who just took a level of Cleric after meeting with a coven of Halan witches.

Thanks all.

A Witch/Warlock class would be a cool idea though.

Go here for a well-balanced witch class for 3rd Edition D&D (free download pdf). It is a pretty well-balanced class that is easily adaptable to Halan witches, and has spells, feats, a few prcs, etc.

Just found that and downloaded it after a bit of searching. Thanks. I'm not sure if I want to use the download, keep it as a multi-class or make something up on my own.

What I've really been hoping for is something like the Witch/Warlock section from VRGtH, but for 3E and with actual Class info.

Be careful about warlocks: they're detailed as arcane spell-like casters in "Complete Arcane."

There's always the witch class from the DMG. Or even better the revised witch on Dicefreaks (also with a revised spell list)

The vast majority of Halan spellcasters are probably adepts, IMHO.

While the majority of the clergy (as with all the religions of Ravenloft) is composed of experts.
