I realize that my my all-time favorite television series, Dark Shadows, is before most people's time. However, I was looking at getting the series on DVD (at 40 episodes per disc, it would take up at lot less space than the VHS ones; the show was on daily for 5 years!). Here is the link I looked at:

I might 'join the club' to get the DVD's automatically, I have mixed feelings about a 'Bobblehead Barnabus' however.

I discovered Dark Shadows via the remake version, which I loved. Then I caught some of the old ones on Scifi. I would love to get these DVD's, but man, that's a daunting amout of episodes. It's like $2000 for the whole set! (assuming it's all released eventually)

Yes, when they first aired in the 60's, then again a few years ago when they were on SciFi. They played 2 episodes a day, so they did them all in 2 and a half years. I taped them then, but didn't save them.
