D&D Movie II

Post by Catman Jim »

I wish I could say it wasn't so.

"Dungeons & Dragons the Movie II: The Elemental Might" premiers on the SciFi Channel October 8. No real info yet on SciFi's website, here's what IMDB says about it:

It doesn't sound bad. A decent teenager fantasy movie. However, I haven't seen the 1st movie, but most people seemed disappointed by it.

I knew the fact that the first movie was on tv tonight was an ill omen!

I feel dirty just reading about the sequel :(

So I take it this movie doesn't continue the story of the previous one?

Does it have anything in common with number 1? (director? actors?)

As far as what I've heard, Damodar from the original movie is being played by the same actor inherits magical powers and is the main villain of this one.

Um, how to convey the supreme, unparalleled lousiness of the D&D movie in terms an illithid can understand?
The movie was so lousy, and so inhumanly insipid that after listening to five minutes of the sidekick's wisecracking is enough to drive you to weave your own tentacles into a macrame bird cage.

Ah...but he's an alhoon. He hasn't been a mindflayer for years. Not only that but he likely has an alien mindset; even more alien with undeath. With all of us glued to the tv's he can suck psp's from us from channel 66.

This now tops Kangaroo Jack 2 as the number one sequel that never should have been made.

And alhoon, count yourself lucky. The first D&D movie was an insult to the name.

Can we cut her out of the picture and just leave the logo of playstation there? I find that a lot more appealing.

:D You learn quickly!
OK, perhaps they learned from their mistake although I don't think so. I'll wait for the reviews of this movie too before I pay 7 Euro to watch it.

Pinky! Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

I think so, Brain, but didn't we give up ritual murder for Lent?

Hi there.

Mmm, I got over the site and saw 4 screenshots. Why does everyone seem to be so full of himself? Do all of the characters suffer from megalomania or they just seem like this in the screenshots?
