Picked it up last night.

I'll give a full review once I've had a chance to read through part of it. Warning: it's a big 'un.

I think so, Brain, but didn't we give up ritual murder for Lent?

*Whew* 400 pages, packed with info. So far I'm about a quarter of the way through.

Features:

History of the Iron Kingdoms--about as in-depth as I've seen, with a timeline spanning some thousands of years. Obviously recent events are more detailed than the distant past, though they give a pretty good rationale for combining D&D-fare with an industrial age.

Traders info.--gives detailed coverage of trade routes & restrictions among the IKs, including some good adventure/campaign hooks. Includes info on roads, river traffic, railroads (!), and more ships (steam & sail) than you can shake a stick at. Useful for war-games, piracy campaigns, or "standard" adventurer fare.

More later.

Nifty. I hope it's good. I really like what little of the setting I've seen so far, and I'd love to get my paladin of Morrow into action with more than just the Witchfire Trilogy . . .

I was impressed. I still haven't finished reading through it yet. And, coupled with the Character Guide, we now have over 800 pages of source material and mechanics for the setting.

The World Guide is impressive. Its attention to the smaller details of nations and realms is something that is missing from a lot of campaign settings on the market today.

I'll have more once I've finished wrangling with this MONSTER!

Your heart turns to stone
She comes at night when you are all alone
And when she whispers
Your blood shall run cold
You better hide before she finds you"
