Stone Prophet

Post by jinat »

Is the Stone Prophet computer game based on the Touch of Death Adventure module or is it a different story ?

And if its different what year is it on the Barovian calendar ?

Thankyou

Stone Prophet is similar to Touch of Death but is ultimately its own game with a lot more dungeon crawling and unique characters. I would say it was inspired by the module but doesn't try and adhere to it very closely. As for what year it happens, that's never mentioned. There are mentions of the Akiri calendar but nothing to indicate how it translates to the Barovian Calendar.

As far as I recall, Stone Prophet is mostly dungeon crawling with little of the plot of the original module. I could be wrong though.

You're right. A lot of dungeon crawling, very little actual plot. Very disappointing compared to Strahd's Possession.
