Played through this game. I enjoyed it, kind of a walk through, reminiscent of PT a little bit but also a few other horror titles. Starts off pretty normal and as you progress things get a little bit more crazy in your house and discover more of the backstory of your family and your paintings.
Figured I'd alert anyone out there that plays games.
Layers of Fear
Re: Layers of Fear
What he means by "walk through" is that it is a "walking simulator" type game. There are also puzzles to solve, obviously some easier than others, but none as annoyingly hard as some of PT's puzzles. There are also collectibles to find that unlock more of the story as well as some dialogue. The game has some replay value with different choices leading to different endings. It is full of frightening atmosphere throughout plus the occasional jump scare.

Hello,
Currently working on a draft of adapting the storyline of Layers of Fear into a Ravenloft Domain.
Has anyone else given this any thought while playing it?

I have not, but it is an interesting idea for sure.
They also came out with a second version of the game which had it's own unique feel from the original. Though the narrative of what's going on shifts towards the end.
