I just gave the first four to my son this past Christmas. He hasn't read them yet, but he's only a year off from my age when I first got interested in D&D, so there's still hope. After that I blame his mother. haha

It's interesting that each book features a different class and different campaign setting. Hopefully that means that we will also see a 'wizard in Greyhawk' and 'fighter in Eberron' (or Krynn?) books soon.

I have to say, while I of course would wish for a full-blown setting again, I do like that WotC hasn't forgotten about Ravenloft entirely and continues to release little shout-outs like this.
