As I said, there are many theories on Elzbet's eventual fate, so we may never know. But thanks for that on her alteration in habits, I had forgotten about that.
She died imprisoned in a bricked room. She left herself die, stopping eating. I've read many books on the topic, and this is her death version in nearly all of them.
