Roald v mercs mini fight
I will give him init this round, but those bows will fire end of the round.
One guy with a sword blocking him/protecting the shooters on this wall.
Firing into melee penalties apply if Rolad keeps close.

Roald will try to run past the guy with the sword and attack the guys who are reloading.

Okay, he will try to trip and sword blow (one normal attack and one -4 to hit called shot). If you are tripped and hit, you fall off the wall 20 feet onto stone.Varrus the Ethical wrote:Roald will try to run past the guy with the sword and attack the guys who are reloading.

Re: Birthright: Tuornen OOC
First 20 = possible crit
2nd 20 = crit for double and roll again for possible triple
17 = would hit, so total of triple.
That means roll as three seperate damage rolls and add it all up.

Kills a dude and wrecks a crossbow.
Good thing for Roald he didn't fall for the trip move.
Sword+ fall damage+ at least a few heavy crossbow bolts (ten guys crossfire. fairly range, no shooting into melee penalty= baaaaaaad for PC.

Yes, I'm aware Roald came rather close to an undignified death.

hide: [dice]1[/dice]

Filbert hides so he can try backstab.
I think it's better try to move fast, attack now that we have a surprise round and then try to get to the others and get the heck out of there before more guards arrive.
