So far, this is what I've got.

Nicodemus Bennett - Ranger (soon to be Detective) from Hope's End in the north of Mordent. He's a pale man with bottomless, brown eyes and brown hair pulled back into a short tail. He favors a short leather jacket with a ripped shoulder that has been mended haphazardly with thick black thread.

Nicodemus carries a cane, hand axe, and large knife. He would probably use some pair of these in combat if the need arises.

I'm planning to play up the detective aspect and play down the ranger aspect. The ranger skills come from his background in a small country town. Its the investigation that fascinates him. Though, if he get's his tail kicked a few times. He might pick up a few levels in ranger again.

Should I start an account on Invisible Castle?

Also, should I use D&D 3.0 or 3.5? How should I roll my stats?

Similiar questions? and yeah.... i'd also add in pathfinder but i think most games around here go off 3.x right? I'll roll the sets when I know. Is it ok to post our characters even without stats just In Character?

I think I want to do a person with a bloodline that gives them magic but they aren't just pure magic and good at fighting so would a multiclass of Fighter/Sorcerer be fine? I just can't make up my mind whether I want to start as a sorcerer or a fighter.... I think I'll start sorcerer and then next level into fighter and then continue to alternate if we get that high. What do you guys think? I think I need help as to what it should be.... i kinda was thinking of a "Theme" so i'd pick magick's that go along with that theme or as close as i could get to them in level 0 and ones.... o.O'

So what you guys think, blood of Fey? Demons? Undead? Dragons? Vampires? hmmmm? I'm open to suggestions....

Also I rolled up stats on invisible castle, let me know if the lucky roll is too high for this campaign. Or that I rolled wrong. Our group does the standard 4d6 eliminate the lowest so that's what I did on this.

The obvious answer for a guy who fights and uses magic is the cleric.

There is also the 'battle sorceror' variant from the SRD (UA section)

That equals 32 point buy. Okay for me.

Also, don't get your panties in a bunch, fellow brothers and sisters in the shadow.

This will be a cruel game, this will be a cold game.
And the margin for error will be so small that you better don't grow too attached to your characters either.
