My favorite Darklord is Azalin as always followed by . . . many people.
Strahd, Soth and Hazlik follow but I don't know who exactly goes first.

As for the pole, I couldn't hold myself and voted :"What is Ravenloft?"
OK, I know that I shouldn't alter the statistics with a joke, so if you want you can take that vote away.

First and foremost, I love the "AAA" trio:

- Azalin Rex
- Arijani
- Ankhtepot

Followed by Soth, Anton Misroi and Hazlik. Ivana and Lukas, of course, and then Gabby and Jacquie. These are my top 10 and I have had the honor and pleasure of having played the role of each one of them, at least once, in my campaigns.

Well, I do like Strahd, but he's no longer my darling dear, so to speak...

Soth will always be my favorite, but Azalin is the best darklord in all land of mists, in the last 20-25 years of ravenloft, he was the only one wich make real difference, the other ones always seen kind of static...

I just hope Gwydion is not as outlandish and pathetic as he was in Prince of Shadows in the Shadow Rift accessory, he needs to be scarier and have alot more depth added to him. His curse seems to be that he cannot escape the Obsidian Gate (if it still exists, it may have been destroyed, you never know) and plague the Shadow Fey as he did in the Plane of Shadow. He does have the cool ability of entering the dreams of others and ciercing them into doing his bidding, which I did play upon during the adventure, I had him enter the dreams of one of the party members and coerce him into retreiving the Crown of Arak and attempt to get him to gift it to Loht, so Gwydion would be free of his prison. But doing so, Gwydion's hold on Loht started to slip with his attention elsewhere, so he couldn't complete his plan in manipulating the hero.

Lord Soth is my favorite DL.

Then, I like Azalin, Strahd, Gabrielle and Ivana.

I have to admit that I like Soth so much because I like his curse , I have loughed very much when I heard it!

As tempting as it is to give the top vote to Harkon Lukas (that monocle is damn good), I'll side with Azalin because of his non-stop scheming. I like Jacqueline Renier, too, simply because she can so easily make her domain a death-trap (or worse) for anyone unfortunate enough to offend her.

My favorite was, is, and forever shall be Soth. I actually feel kinda sorry for Ol' Buckethead, going through life without the ability to feel emotion really sucks.
Dr. Cornelius Scipio, Rogue monster hunter, and owner of the Inn of the Drunken Wolf.

Rumors of my death are mildly exaggerated. I got better.

#5: Urik Von Kharkov (talk about a unique origin)

#4: Lemot Juste (just a cool concept)

#3: Arijani (the guy's a freaking demigod, basically--and Web of Illusions really illustrates the power an illusionist can have to mess with your mind)

#2: A magic-and-meanness fight between Azalin and Strahd (gotta love the classics, plus they show what magic-users can really do with LOTS of time on their hands)

#1: A fur-and-fang fight between Harkon Lukas and Alfred Timothy (monocle notwithstanding  )

Honorable Mentions: Jacqueline Renier, Gregor Zolnik (sensing a lycanthropy pattern here?) :)
