Vincent moves around deflecting several attacks from the Zombi, but despite his efforts not all are deflected and come through, tearing through his armor.
He let's out a short painfull cry as the claws rip his flesh. Forcing away the pain he renews his attacks trying to seize the initiative. The rapier flashes high and low. With his rapier he tries to hit the creature in the opposite arm, but instead of moving back he uses his momentum to turn a full spin, his mace hand coming up towards the creature's head in a backhand manner.

OOC:
Rapier Attack 12
Mace attack 22 --> Dmg 7
Tresspassers will be shot......
Survivors will be shot again.

Seeing that the situation is becoming dire, Zumba shifts to his quarterstaff, rages and attacks.

Goren is tired and fed up of his spells not working versus the Zombies he has faced thus far. Grasping his Holy Symbol, he tries another approach, the one of his spells that generally heal people, will now harm this foul undead. Grasping his holy symbol tightly, the priest calls upon the powers of his deity and asks for a Cure Serious Wounds spell. This he casts upon the Zombie.

OOC :
22 attack roll
Cure Serious 3d8+5=24

"You bite off too much, yes, Monsieur Vermin? Hahaha!" teases Lucien evilly, practically daring the creature to come after him. He senses what Goren is attempting -- at least what he hopes the hard-to-understand cleric is attempting -- and tries to keep the zombie's attention away from Goren. He takes a step back and, even though the level of concentration makes his insides churn anew, summons an invisible wall of energy as protection.

Move: 5-foot step back to square D1.
Standard: Expend 1 pp to manifest force shield and gain +4 shield bonus to AC for 5 minutes. Under other circumstances, I'd risk staying put and then manifest defensively, but with the penalty for being sickened still going on, I might blow the Concentration check.
Offensive prescience is still in effect.
Any effect on the zombie's actions from destiny dissonance is still in effect (3rd round of 5).

Frustrated with his failed attempts to assail the creature, Nicolae cracks his whip again in frustration.

Zumba's furious assault pierces the monster's defense and it howls its fury. It focuses on the Capoeira, ignoring the Cleric approaching it.

Goren's hand strikes the zombi's clammy flesh, and a surge of positive energy tears through the creature. The zombi utters a startled noise, its whole body quivers, and for a moment it gawks at Goren. Where the red-haired priest touched the monster, its flesh starts to blacken, and the blackness starts to spread over its back like mould.

For one, frozen moment, the zombi just stares. Then its mouth widens in a horrible grin. "Zshanks you," it purrs. "Deash soon."

The zombi turns its eyeless gaze on Vincent and grins. "Yeeeshh. Deash soon."

SLASH!

The zombi's hand moves so fast, Vincent only realizes that he's been cut when the pain hits and he sees the blood staining the zombi's metal claw and the deck beneath it.

Nicolae's whip slashes the beast's back, and some of that blackness spreading over its flesh seeps out of it like blood. The stench makes all your hair stand on end. The zombi snarls contemptuously at the Tepestani.
(OOC: Everyone who was at the battle in front of the Temple of Ezra, please make a Wisdom check, DC10.)

Vincent's counterattack is partially weakened by his fresh injuries; while his mace connects with the monster's ribs, it handily deflects his rapier with its metal claws. "Yheees, plaaaay~!" the thing hisses, the foul stench of its breath enveloping the daring swashbuckler. "Play, play, play~!"

The zombi just keeps laughing and laughing and laughing while its flesh blackens...

I don't quite recall that battle, but assuming the zombie is about to explore, Zumba will try to bullrush it back to the swamp.

Pending on the actual interpretation of the wis roll, though....

Goren gauges the situation and recalling the last battle with this same type of Zombie he gets an idea. Both he and Zumba are closest to the Zombie and still pretty healthy compared to the others.

Souragnien "Zumba, we pushing off of water vehicle undead.... we push..... NOW!" The priest hopes that Zumba understands and moves to push the Zombie off of the skiff. He will put his shoulder into it.

Attack roll 17

Zumba has apparently the same idea as Goren and so he quickly understands what the red-haired priest means. He runs in the direction of the zombie in tandem with Goren hoping to push the creature back into the mire.

If Vincent has cleared the way to the left, then Zumba and Goren can push it right in the direction along the C row. If not, Zumba will move to C3 and push it down towards D3.

He dodges the Zombie if possible. (feat)

OOC: I don't think there's enough room for charging, is there? Besides, that would put my AC in the basement so perhaps not a good idea.

Lucien recalls from the fight outside the cathedral that the spreading blackness across the zombie's flesh is NOT a good thing. Fortunately, Zumba and Goren seem to notice it, too. As the two men try to shove the zombie off the raft, Lucien readies a weapon and takes aim.

________________________________
I didn't have a chance to update the map, but the only difference from the previous version is that Lucien moved to the corner (D1) last round, so Zumba and Goren could also try to move the zombie diagonally (C3 to D2 to water) if they're successful.
Move-equivalent: Draw weapon (dagger if zombie is on raft, crossbow if it's in the water).
Standard: Weapon attack (1d20+6=9). Feh. :(
Offensive prescience and force shield still in effect. Any effect on the zombie's actions from destiny dissonance is still in effect (4th round of 5).

Vincent sees what Goren and Zumba try to do and tries to get out of the way to give them enough room to manoever.

If they succeed he is ready to step in quickly helping not to fall in the water themselves.
If they do not succeed it depends exactly on how it goes.
Tresspassers will be shot......
Survivors will be shot again.

You storm forward, your intent to drive the monster off the raft.

Goren leads, his shoulder held forward. The zombi practically dances out of his way, its elegance an insult to the red-haired priest. The monstrosity raises a hand almost lazily and sweeps it along Goren's ribs as he barrels past. Blood flies on the air. Grinning hideously, the zombi turns with the moving Cleric and slashes him across his back.

(OOC: Goren's attack roll misses just barely. The zombi uses its attack of opportunity and rolls a critical hit... Goren takes 18 damage. The zombi follows up with its standard attack and hits again, this time for an additional 16 damage... Ouch.

Seeing as all the delay is entirely my fault, I am taking the liberty of rolling Ail's bull rush for him. Zumba's attack roll is... 26!)

The brave Capoeira rushes forward and slams into the monstrosity while it dodges Goren. Startled, the monster slashes at the Souragnien and its claws dig into his flesh -- but Zumba's charge is not to be denied! His attack knocks the blackening, bloating monster off the raft and into the muck!

(The zombi is off the raft! Zumba takes 10 damage, though.)

Lucien's arrow zips past the creature, splashing into the muck while it thrashes and claws at the raft's logs.
"Hsssspiiiiiteee~!" the monster bellows while struggling to get back on the logs with you all...

I had misread the previous post. So, seeing that the Zombi is in the water, Zumba cries.

"Let's row away, and someone attack it from distance when we are far. If it's got to explode let it explode and not recover."

Rock, can I still keep this 17 for my next roll, whatever it is?

Seeing the Zombi splashing into the water, Vincent Immediately sheathes his weapons and draws his crossbow, preparing a quarrel to fire.
"Zumba's right, get that raft moving" he says while taking aim.

Goren stumbles past the undead fiend and cries out twice, falling to his knees. Bleeding profusely from his several deep wounds, the priest curses under his breath, upset with himself for having been so foolish with this Zombie again. When it is in the swamp, he stands on shaky legs. In a considerable amount of pain and now weak, the red haired man looks at his companions trying to judge who needs the most healing before proceeding. He rips part of his other cloak and tries to staunch the blood and prevent and clean his wounds best he can.
