Back for a Visit...

Post by Cole Deschain »

Wow.

I'm favorably impressed that this place is still going as strong as it is.

As so often happens on the net, real life caused me to drift away from this place, and I've gone YEARS without logging on.

But you never forget your roots, and this is the group of people that were with me when I adopted the username that has more or less defined my online identity ever since.

Some, I outlasted... Bela, Chartreuse-both of whom I was as close to as one can be with someone they've never actually met. When they left, I really didn't last much longer.

Many outlasted me- Jason, Wiccy, Alhoon, Coan, and others. Sorry for anybody I left hanging, but hell, it's been something like five years since I drifted away.

A lot has changed, but I'll always remember you guys on some level.

Thanks.

The summoning spell worked! Now let's go to part 2 of the master plan.

But where do we find Drusilla at this time of night? And in the middle of a graveyard?

Yeah, a lot of good friendships were made between here and the old SotK website. It became tougher to stay around when the others slowly drifted away, but there's still one fundamental truth... Once the mists bring you into Ravenloft, you very rarely ever truly escape.

You still seem to forget that it's "alhoon"...
Hey, Cole, excited about 5th edition D&D or you still remain loyal to the 2nd? You're 2 1/2 editions behind so far.
