Gatling gun invented 1861 patented 1862. Damage 2d10/ Critical 19-20 x2 ROF gravity fed crank operated 600 rounds per minute each barrel firing 100 rounds/ ammo magazine 40 rounds reliability 30% chance per round of combat jamming. Now bring on the Maxim invented in 1884.

That would be really bad in 2nd edition! If the same rule applies to a d10, then a 10 rolled would be rolled again for extra damage!

if you're thinking of using these in 3.5 edition, mayhaps you could check out the supplement D20 Past . Stats are already included for both Gatling Guns, Maxims and the Colt-browning machinegun.
