As always, I beg to differ.

The thing that jumped out at me from this write-up was the feuding clans stuff, especially as it ties into the Darklord's disappointment at being normal. That'd be what I'd expand on - there are centuries of legends and feuds going on here, and half the domain are so obsessed with acting like their brave-honorable-homicidal-maniac ancestors that they don't notice their society falling apart. Everyone talks about 'this is the axe of my forefathers' or whatever, but it's really just an old axe they painted up to look good.

In terms of where it is - I like the idea of it being close to Darkon. In fact, it could be politically part of Darkon, or have one stable mistway from there - everyone except the Darklord and Azalin think it's part of Darkon, and it annoys Azalin immensely that there's this little pocket in his country which is metaphysically not his.

Besides Necropolis you mean?
We both may be ghoul meat tonight, but I'll catch your people before the flesh eaters find me Vistana!
