RE rest of group--

You guys tell me where you want your PCs to be:

1continuing scenes from last chapter

2 out and about on some missions or tasks of their own choosing (please specify where, and what)

3 gathered/gathering at the alchemist's shop to get those protective masks

4 something else?

If you go with 3, we may assume some time has passed for messages to be sent and received, player characters to find one another, etc.
Time may pass with 2, as well.

Wolfglide, for you character's attempt to track down Bennedict Gehrman, let's use a GATHER INFORMATION skill check.

DC 15

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/gatherInformation.htm

The DC isn't set higher because you at least have his address.
If you fail the roll, you can try again, or leave him a message.

Wolfglide rolled 1 20-sided dice:
15

My Gather Information bonus is +9.

Time has been ambiguous so far, but, if this is assumed to be happening in the late morning, my character will break off his search at noon to pray in a secluded yet outdoor location. If this is earlier, or already in the afternoon, it does not matter.

Yes, late morning for the beginning.

And that roll is solid.

I will update again after some feedback from the others.

Raen would first catch up with someone about what the others are doing. He's not aware of the masks and while he suspects the ash is anything but good, he doesn't know what it is. Then he will go back to get one of the strange signs and give it to Bennedict or Katherine, trying to see if he's crazy or it is actually changing.
Then he would accompany anyone in need to get the masks and have a discussion on what to do with the whole group gathered.

Kat's first goal is to track everyone down and warn them about the effects of the ash. then she is going to try to round up as many as she can to get the masks and find the center of the ash cloud and deal with it. Matyr is serious, but he isn't going to warp the whole city into ravening fiends!

Have we found out how to deal with the ash cloud? Has anyone informed the wererats or they will just going to go even more ravenous and eat the whole city?

And is poor Raen again left out of the loop with that 2? :(
Did he at least found Benn?

ALHOON

If you like, feel free to have Raen show up at Benn;s house---after KAT.

I think he's obviously not going to go back to the office alone.
And his roll to find otehrs failed, so where else could he really go?
It's logical.

But if you have someplace else in mind, by all means, go for it.

KINTIRE-

Your PC was gathering the party, as you said. Okay, she's made it to Benn's house.

WOLFLGLIDE-
Do as you like. If you have any questions, fire away.

It's midday.

ADAM--Whatever you like, just let me know what Benn is doing after his meeting with Ignatz. Or if you want to RP more of that meeting.

BROCK

Yoyoyo

lord skybolt

Actions?

Hey! Could I get a brief rundown of the last chapter? Just trying to jump back in

A very short synopsis is:
Little progress on the woman-killer. Falkovnians or people-that-blame-Falkovnians cause trouble and fires. But we have bigger problems: The cloud.
Wererats are worried. Rats are leaving en masse under the cloud. Those trapped under the cloud become ravenous and dangerous smoking monsters according to the alchemist and I'm talking about regular rats here. Not people or wererats. Think what will happen when it reaches them. Katherine got us some masks so we can get once under the cloud.

An even shorter, to the point synopsis:
It's the end of days and we're all going to die!
