The Wolf's Paw was an enchanted wolf's paw stuffed with wolfsbane that magically repells all canine creatures, be it dogs, wolves, werewolves, wolfweres, jackals, jackalweres, vampires in wolf forms, and apparently, even gnolls and hyenas, nevermind that hyenas are more related to mongooses and cats.
