Kat carefully assess her cow-driving skills, and turns to look hopefully at her companions "I'm a bit of a city girl, I'm afraid. Cow herding is new to me..." She eyes the tunnel a little dubiously. "Also do we need a quick planning session? I assume we are not leaving that thing down...

Kat gapes down at Klokulf but looks relieved that they won't be fighting the creature... yet.

"Right...okay then! one four legs coming up. we'll make sure to pick the fattest one left!"

She steps backwards, keeping her eye on the thing, only turning away when it is well out of reach

isn't this sacrificing yourself for another blasphemy against Bane or something? :p

Kat leaps forward, as far as she can given the light, trying to get to the thing in the crevice before it can start making a meal of the unfortunate man!

She is shifting to the defensive, though, to give her companions time to back her up...

Kat says nothing as she watches the newcomer, glancing at Klokulf as she hears he has met such people before. To her, this is just another weird resident of the realms, no odder than the gnome. Still, she keeps a close eye on her. No reason to believe they are trustworthy

Kat turns to the door, muttering

"I heard something..."

She examines it swiftly for either the best place to open it, or the best place to put a kick to bust it open, staying alert for anything that shows up from behind it...

I will wait for the party to express an opinion about the stuck door, but my view is very much that busting it open would alert all here, so I am going to try picking the locked door first...

Katrin slips through the archway and towards the door on the right, hugging the wall. She listens carefully and checks if it is locked, or there is any light beyond. If not, she does the same at the far door and reports her findings...

Kat, following Fala, listens carefully at the curtain and, if she hears nothing assesses it briefly, seeking which part of it naturally hangs further from the wall or floor. carefully she hitches that part back far enough to see what lies beyond...

Thats perfect! we can rescue the farmer and then head down the stair to our inevitable death after you have refreshed spells!

No drawbacks there...

Kat glances back

"Discarded boot, I think. Could be worth a look..."

Kat is remaining discreet, though she is focussing more on staying quiet, and not troubling much about hiding. She doesn't want anything in the burrow hearing that she is so close, but anything looking out will see them anyway

Kat kneels a little to one side of the mouth of the burrow and listens carefully, trying to work out if any sound is coming from within. She also looks into the burrow but doesn't expect much from that, although there is the chance some light is within

Kat watches with some interest as the farmhand displays his muscles, but her attention is distracted as they prepare to depart, her face displaying no particular surprise as the party heads out, rising and leaving with a pleasant smile.
