Well, I'd be multiclassing out of Paladin, which doesn't seem like a class suiting Blade or D, and I don't have a clue about Alucard. I may just go human, though. As for the rest, chewing the scenery is what I do best. :)

This sounds interesting. Would a Half-Vampire from Libris Mortis be acceptable? How about the Knight of the Raven Prestige Class from EtCR?

Re: Ravenloft themed 4E classes?

The interesting thing about Warhammer FRPG is that you cannot pick and choose classes (which btw are aptly called careers) but you roll them. Only when you have completed your current career to a degree, can you take on another one. It's a completely different system, that has a certain charm. The ...

Pardon my 4e ignorance, but how is that different from: Difference is that there aren't any 5th wheel classes. A Bard isn't a class you take once you have a Fighter, Thief, Mage, and Cleric. Now it's a class which you can take in place of a Cleric and be perfectly fine. You'll likely often find a c...

I don't know about any potential Wardens, but I was thinking that Tara Kolyana may be an Invoker. I flipped through Champions of the Mists, and I got a few thoughts. Brother Dominic Invoker Ivan Dragonov Barbarian Gondegal Warlord Tara Kolyana Invoker Alanik Ray Rogue Larissa Snowmane Shaman George ...

The whole striker/controller mambo jumbo reminds me, why I don't like fourth edition and why I fell in love with pathfinder. That's actually one of my favorite things. No longer will the following situation arise: DM: We've got a Fighter, Mage, and Thief. So what're you gonna play? PLAYER: I want t...

Agreed about the Vistani. No need to keep them or even take the specifics of that adventure into account (It was a standalone adventure, after all, and not a product for a published campaign setting. So it was easier to just substitute some things rather than create a Vistani race for the book). As ...

Yes as was mentioned, the title is misleading; the Druid is still a class in the PHB2; the Warden is a nature-themed warrior, whereas the Druid is a nature-themed spellcaster. Personally, I'm looking forward to it. Likewise. Both the Druid and Warden look to be pretty interesting, and I'm looking f...

I heard that in 4E it wasn't easy to have multiple classes on an individual- by cannon Strahd was a general (fighter) and a good one at that. I understand how he could now be a death pact warlock (can warlocks in 4th edition create undead like Strahd has done in cannon?). It's just too bad that he ...
