What I received on rental

So I helped my daughter move 700 miles last weekend. I had rented a 26 foot U-Haul truck online and picked it up in her town. You may know that U-Haul has large decals on the sides of their trucks depicting a wide variety of images; US states, Canadian provinces, animals, natural attractions, etc. H...

Re: 'Circle of Darkness' Map help

On Page 21, under the Temple Complex heading is the statement " The Endless Corridors floorplan- morphs provided on the color mapsheet can be used to randomly generate the interior of any building in the complex (or, for that matter, any building in Zhukar.)"

Close as I can find...

Re: Cool TV serie - recommandations?

Oh, I don't think I mentioned this: Les Revenants. It is from France. Free on tou.tv I really, really enjoyed this. Seven episodes I think. There will be a second season. But it ALMOST could have ended like it did. Extremely atmospheric!!!! Quite a few WTF? moments. Go. Watch. I will be waiting. I ...

Re: Dark Shadows

I'm a big fan, I was one of the legion of schoolkids that ran home from school back in the 60's to watch the show. Did you know that Lara Parker (who played the witch Angelique) is about to release her third Dark Shadows novel and is starting a book signing tour in August? I am disappointed that the...

One of the guys I work with lives alone and passed away at home on the 4th of July. It was a week before anyone discovered him, the details were pretty awful.

True story. :(

Re: Hemlock Grove?

OK, I have now binge-watched all 13 episodes on Netflix. My overall reaction to this series is "huh?". There are so many characters and storylines, and they all held so much potential, but that never really led to any purpose or resolution. I read pretty much the same evaluation of the boo...

Looks like it premieres in the US on Netflix today also. Thanks for the heads-up, I will have to check it out when I can finally break away from CNN.
