My articles

I'll be doing 3 articles for Quoth 11: *Things that Go Bump- a bestiary of Bogeymen and Shadow Fey (5 critters of low-to-mid CR). *MM3 in Ravenloft- notes how to use monsters from the Book in Ravenloft (the appropriate ones). *Caliban Paragons- 5 mini-prestige classes for the Caliban breeds presente...

Article ideas

I have 3 article ideas already- a unique Shadow Fey for the Bogeymen issue as well as Brutes and Banshees II (finally came up with concepts for all the NPCs), or an article about Raksasha (complete with 4 variants) for an Oriental-themed issue.

My responses

Frankly, I expected more. I imagined a Van Richten's guide-style article on psycopaths and a collection of human scum NPCs (criminals, madmen, murdersrs and perverts) of the worst sort, articles on evil PCs and so on. Just look on the real world and how much evil man commits- I expected a HUGE issue...

Weeping Rose

I'll try to complete the Weeping Rose tommorow. The Nightlord and another article I'm preparing will be delayed for the next QtR. The Dollmaker is cancelled.

Another idea...

We also need an article containing the stats on real-world drugs.

My final article list

I'll do three articles for Quoth the Raven 10- the revised Nightlord prestige class, the Dollmaker and the Weeping Rose Actor Society. The last two articles will carry the "Mature" tag, as they deal with quite the sensitive topics. The Society in particular is especially despicable and jus...

Mine

I'll submit a psychotic NPC who kidnaps women and makes dolls out of them...

I'll also submit an update of the Nightlord PrC from Champions of Darkness and a Blackguard core class.

While I was born Jewish I'm generally an atheist, although I do believe in the supernatural.

My choices

Either Bogeymen or Evil that Men Do. I got submission ideas for both.

3

3rd edition. I downloaded some 2e material and use it for reference only, sometimes converting stuff from it. I don't like 2e since it's way too complicated, and I view 3.5 as a ripoff and don't have patience to learn the new rules (although I do use some rules like the Extraplanar subtype and the n...

3rd edition all the way!

I solely use 3.0 edition, mostly because I don't have the patience to learn all the new rules and refuse to spend money buying minor fixes and updates such as the Ravenloft Player's Handbook.

My favorites

Planescape, definately. Just so stylish and full of options, ancient secrets, exploration and conflicts.

I also like my homebrewed world of Gothica, but I never fully fleshed it out.

The Primals

IMC I decided to leave the Dark Powers vague for awhile, though I have a few dread possibilities for them. One is that they are actually the Primals- elder fiends of incredible power, something like a cross between HP Lovecraft's Great Old Ones and Satan. Imprisoned by the gods in ages past, they sl...
