Nathan, I did, but as you said, we could present our ideas. I didn't realize the ideas should be faithful to your source - I thought we'd either follow your ideas or come up with new ones to complement or replace those. Now that you've clarified that we are doing an expansion on your initial ideas, ...

Speaking of which, where do you guys find so much information on Easen? Is Vechor featured in any netzine/canon material? I think I must have missed it - I've always been intrigued by so little that is written about Easen and Vechor to find out more. Right now what little I know of Vechor makes it s...

Maybe the Lady can be someone like like Circe in the Ulysses - she can and will be entertained by the right people who shipwrecked on her island, even take a good-looking warrior as a lover, but because she is very fickle and temperamental, she can also easily turn on those she is initially welcomin...

Regarding the Baron's religion, since he's already convinced that he's of good alignment regardless of evidence to the contrary, I think he could easily believe in any good-aligned god of Krynn even if they no longer answer his prayers or grant him spells. I have no idea how Baron Lyron Eversong can...

I always find Monette and the Baron of the Eyrie similar in many ways, and making Monette dislike his bat companions/familiars only increase the similarity of the two Darklords. Is the Eyrie considered a non-canon domain since it's a one-shot creation for Dungeons? I like the idea of Monette having ...

Ooh, I can't wait to see the result of this one. I can't wait to see how one does justice to Liffe. Personally I can't imagine how anyone can salvage the Baron other than replacing him with a different Darklord, but perhaps the proximity of sorts of Liffe to Vechor can allow the Baron and Easen the ...

Need help in creating stats for NPCs

Usually my friend was the one who did all the stats for NPCs since he was the "numbers" person while I'm more of the "story" person but he's currently abroad. I'm about to start a campaign in Sanguinia with a couple of buddies so it's up to me to come up with some stats for that ...

That would fit Saragoss to a tee. I love that domain because it's so brutal and vicious and, barring sea zombies, sahuagins, and other sea monsters aside, most of the terrors in that domain stem from the inhuman cruelty people would do just to survive. From stealing to cannibalizing your own friends...

They took Soth back to Krynn and promptly killed him off in a rather lacklustre redemption angle. Sigh, it all feels like an act to flex the muscles on the authors' part to me. The whole "I can, therefore I do!" act, that is. If I recall correctly, James Lowder did say in the Wizards board...

Brandi, thanks for the correction - I can't say I am too familiar with Blaxploitation horror films and I should have checked before typing. This is as embarrassing as that mistake I once made in a movie forum when I mistyped "1970" as the time period when all those Cary Grant movies were m...

This may be an un-PC comment, but I always suspect that Valachan is a domain set after horror movies from the Blaxploitation era of the 1950s/1960s. The kind where a scary Black vampire is always chasing after our human heroines in a quest for true love. On to the topic, is "poor" a refere...

I think the hags are just happy to stay in the background as long as they have babies to eat and men to seduce/eat. I do wonder though, why the Dark Powers would keep them as Darklords when they ditched Nathan Timothy and Jack Karn. Apart from the hags being hags, are there anything interesting abou...

I love the idea of a Gothic fairytale-like setting of doomed knights for Tepest. Already I have a mind of adapting a dark version of Sleeping Beauty for a next campaign set in Tepest. Haunted woods, a dark castle with a wicked witch and a magic mirror, and seven... um, something (I'll think about th...
