I have a Dementlieuse NPC IMC. He was abandoned by his parents and was raised in an orphanage. He is human-looking except for being covered in brown fur. He suffered a lot of teasing from the other orphans and to this day is known as Marcel LaBete, the name given to him as a cruel joke. He eventuall...

My most memorable villain was a woman from Dementieu. Here's the story: The party entered a small town in Falkovnia just in time to witness the execution of a woman for killing her husband. Asking around, they found out that there had been a rash of women killing their husbands. This all started aft...

From Denizens of Dread, p. 202:
If a nosferatu’s hit points are reduced to 0 or below, it collapses as if slain but is not truly destroyed.
Nosferatu do not turn to mist when brought to 0 hit points. They lay comatose until they are under moonlight and then start regenerating.

A PC in my game from Har'Akir would beg to differ about the "Cradle of Civilization" bit. Of course another PC from Paridon replied, "If you're so civilized, why haven't you invented pants yet?"

I was intrigued by the brief mention of George Kleinhotz.

I'd have to agree on the Phibes movies. I had trouble sitting through them. Although, I would classify Plan 9 in the so bad it's good category.

I've seen all four movies mentioned and so feel justified in trashing them. If this is him trying to make them good, some friend needs to sit him down and gently explain that perhaps his talents lie elsewhere.

They weren't even in the Roger Corman, so bad it's good, class.

Uwe Boll

House of the Dead (movie) I'm a huge fan of the House of the Dead games. I've blown more money on quarters and tokens playing the game consoles than I have on anything else--except D&D. I still keep my Dreamcast hooked up so I can play House of the Dead 2 when I feel like it. But this movie...t...

I used Talena once. She took one of the PCs on as an apprentice and made her wear a scrying brooch to keep tabs on her. She was disappointed in the PC because she (the PC) wasn't domineering enough with the other PCs, who Talena considered the PC's minions.

Only two. And one of them was killed by another PC (quote - accidentally - unquote). I didn't even roll dice on that one.

Most people (NPCs mostly) in my game call it "the land". Often capitalized when it is seen as semi-sentient kind of like when people talk about "the Universe" acting in this or that way.

Speaking as a "lazy" one, I take no offense. I can wait until the PbP resumes, however long that takes and I have been following the chat transcripts closely and enjoying them. So, there is no danger of me losing interest, even if I am not participating in the chats. Trust that I will be l...

Any thoughts on my rules?
Well thought out. Much more elaborate than mine. I basically just used the standard pistol with 6 shots before a full round reload and a +1 or +2 for exceptional craftsmanship.
