Erwin changes his course, cutting across the fields in the direction the others are heading. Hopefully he'll intercept them about the same time they reach the strange fellow.

I think the paucity of races is really part of the Warhammer "feel." Since pretty much every race not made by some god (Elves, Dwarves, Lizards [which aren't in the core rulebook] and Men...halflings come from somewhere, not sure on that) are more or less assumed to be created by Chaos, it...

Erwin becomes even more unsettled when he realizes that the "woman" he saw the other people in this strange assortment going out to greet was not human at all. He slows down his walk, carefully approaching the farm complex from the lane.

A Little Fiction...

[OOC: So, after the farmer walked in, but before the fighting started, Erwin quietly slipped out a side door from the stable. He reappears about now...] Erwin walks purposefully up to the front doors of the stable. His long walk had cleared his head. They were only dreams, he told himself. Only drea...

Definitely agree with all the above statements re: softcover supplements. On the other hand, the supplements that are out are pretty nice. Grammar/editing is generally better than WOTC, the layout is pretty easy to use, and I think the amount of detail included in each is about right. They're coming...

"By Ezra, will nobody see to that man?"

Erdwin jumps up from the meal he had been enjoying, and rushes to the farmer's side. He lays his hands on the man's throat, as though seeing if there is yet life within him.

[OOC: I'll try to lay on hands, see if that brings him back...]

Just to let everyone know...I'm still around. IRL I'm moving/getting a new job, which kind of cuts into my posting time

In game, you can assume Erdwin's just sitting there looking depressed unless I say otherwise. Let me go fix my post real quick here...

Erdwin leaps up, groping for his sword at an empty belt. His startled look slowly fades as he takes in his surroundings. "My apologies," he says to the peasant, "I would gladly accept your offer." Then, almost as an afterthought, "Could you also inform us, where we are, and ...

In a strange way, Erdwin is glad the impasse at the gate is over. "Now we can get down to the business of dying!" He thinks cynically to himself. "I swear by the Rays, if I die here, may those fools of this village suffer a hundred times my fate!" He turns back around, facing the...

Erdwin stares up angrily at the young woodsman. "Young," though not by much younger than Erdwin himself. "Woodsman," he calls up to the window, "let us enter amicably, and we shall do no harm to you. We will even," and here Erdwin nearly sighs, "submit to the laws ...

Raphael, I don't know if it's just me, but I can't see the picture of the hooded man. Did the image upload correctly?

Sorry, I know this might be more of a PM issue, but I thought I'd mention it here just in case I'm the only one with this problem...

With an exhasperated look, Erdwin mutters under his breath, "see what always happens around wizards..." Then to Moorkroft, whom he is helping clear the area, "can you walk on your own?"

Although he had no cause to risk himself for this man ("Moorkroft," was that his name? Erdwin had never even met him), the young paladin did feel it his duty to aid that woman who had aided him. With that thought in mind, he turned back...just in time to see said woman use sorcery to attac...

Realizing he was not the leader of this group, Erdwin had tried to stand back during the deliberations. However, he would not be led off to prison so willingly! "Good sirs," he addresses himself again to the woodsmen, "by my request of succor I hardly imagined that I would be resting ...
