get holy!
Moorkroft looks up at the girl for a second time. Her greatly altered aspect holds his attention. He drops a loose plank he had picked up. He begins to intone an Ezran prayer-'' Holy Lady, watch over we who sojourn in the Mists. Let not the Mists of Death claim our souls, but let them be guided into...

warning=long reply
Armor plate made to a certain strength was still quite useful against gunfire, at least at a fair distance.Armorsmiths would actually fire weapon into the armor, marking the dent as a ''proof'' of it's resistance at such-and-such a distance to a musket ball. I'm talking 1600s here, not modern high v...

other sources for rules
We used to play Ravenloft, back in 2E days. Our group always used the rules for firearms from HR4 A Mighty Fortress[ Europe from 1550-1650]. They were detailed, and made guns worth buying. Misfires were handled nicely. Guns may have been a bit of a holy terror on armor[at close range, anyway]-but I ...

vamps
What a cool idea! Sure, vampires could do it. One question is : are these vampires the type who have to rest part of the time, in native soil? I really cannot recall what the MM says. Are these human vampires, or dwarven? I believe you can find alternate stats[if you like] for dwarven vampires in De...

Oh, if he gets eaten by zombies, he'll at least go down swinging! The risk of such a horrible death is part of what makes being an adventurer so much fun . Who wants to stay on the farm?

enjoying the game
Just thought I'd mention how much I am enjoying the game. Because of missions, I really don't have time to actually sit down with my friends and get a game of D&D going. Not complaining, though. That's all, I suppose.

For nasty side effects of Grave, I like the suggestion of trench foot[it's nasty ]. What about a similiar maladythat starts out low and spreads upwards? A sort of ''trench body''[not how it actually works, but this is a fantasy].The longer you stay, the more you rot. If it kills you, you rise as wal...
