Scarlet Wake

I recently heard of this beta game in development, unforunatly, it's website has gone down since then. Anyone have a copy of the book and char sheets handy. I'm 90% certain it was released free as a beta-test so this isn't a request for anything illegal.

many thanks

Ravenloft was not published by wizards. It's likely just a copy paste error from the 3.0 ravenloft campaign setting book. Ignore it.

I like to leave canon the way it is. When I run House of Strahd and the party gets wiped the PC's can look at that event on the time-line and go "OOOhh thats us cool!"..but if they beat it they can look and go "Wow we must be good" Even if the pc's aren't directly or even indirec...

well...yeah it would be possible. An adventure based on anything would be possible in ravenloft as long as you do a little work. From what little I know of RE 4 you could opt to use either Toben, mindflayers or somthing else I'm less familier with.

well NotWD takes place in swampland as does Howls in the night. Though they officially take place in different domains it wouldn't require much tweaking to move the westcots to souragne. It also helps that both adventures are close to the same lvl and pretty fun.

baron urik darklord?

I just got done with the valachan section of Gaz IV and read the Baron's char history. I really like him as a darklord but am confused about what he did to deserve such a position. First he was manipulated by a mage and killed somone through no real fault of his own. Then in attempt to forever banis...

I've found that the best way to get players involved with NPC's is to have the npc's be characters that the pc's would want to play. Whenever I introduce clever rogue like individuals to my home players and indicate that they have a role > mook they tend to instantly adopt the NPC into their group, ...

well..the advantage is that there is actually a point to researching a creatures material weakness rather than nabbing a +1 sure-striking weapon and cutting a swath through whatever you encounter.

I think the ToUD is not meant as a catacylismic event wher major ground breakering(literally in the GC) happen over night. More like an extended age of general misery. There would be no ToUD adventure per se, it would be more like releasing a new campaign setting called Ravenloft: ToUD wher you coul...

why would the gaz's nessisarily be hard to find in a few years...They could just reprint them in a collection called Azalin's archive or some such..much like the VRG's got turned into compendiums right before RL 3ed started to pick up steam.

My players just wrapped up evil eye and they should finish up servants of darkness that week. I should probobly jack up the danger in that one since it will both be the halloween game..and the last game before we roll up new chars and restart in Ravenloft in 3rd edition.
