That's fantastic.

Brandi, thanks for taking the time to take an interesting spell and showing how to make it a fantastic spell for plot and (N)PC's!

He wouldn't be a darklord if he didn't constantly struggle to reach the goals denied him by the Dark Powers, regardless of what setbacks he suffers.

Still, at least his plans grow (in scale and purpose, though his overarching goals don't really), which is more than anyone can say for Drakov.

Well made, Tobias. Interesting Deformity Feats. I won't change a thing in my game, except put -4 Cha instead of -2 to Cha. They are known to be somehow hideous and they have a lot of flexibility over the +2s so it has to be paid somehow :) That's actually a pretty good idea. Extra choice and flexib...

Legacy of Blood set up Dominic's overthrow by his niece, Celeste. She starts using the analytical method on him, prying into his deepest secrets and psychoses without him really knowing. She starts gaslighting him, leaving him hints that someone knows something they shouldn't, that is Obedients are...

This may well be a false memory, but I do seem to recall somewhere reading that a brain absorbed by an elder brain prevents the resurrection/raising of the person in question. If true, the destruction of the elder brain reopens the door to resurrection/raising, and by extension successful cloning. ...

I think that the Godbrain would be able to disrupt Alazin's plans with S. When she dies what she knows goes to the new her (be it clone or some other form of resurrection). If she was absorbed by the Godbrain (not become, but absorbed into it) then all her knowledge is taken into it as well. So eith...

I had really hoped to go through life without hearing the words "Strahd" and "Twilight" used on the same page, let alone the same paragraph.

Now I must track this down, if only out of morbid curiosity. :?

esides, the core book is big enough to kill someone (if it were possible to throw). Yes it is. And yet it's the second biggest d20 book in my collection. You have The World's Largest Dungeon , don't you... Did you shell out the extra cash to get the limited edition forklift to move it around?

Actually I like those changes. Joel : Still, they don't seem enough for me to buy the book. I'll use the SRD. When I said "it's not that different" I meant not so different in style or feeling from 3.5 than say Conan d20, or Wheel of Time d20. That's pretty much how its meant to be. Its p...

Did Pathfinder issue a conversion guide and/or a list of changes? EDIT: Joel beat me to the punch on the link. Here's a list of what they say they changed in their FAQ. How does the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game improve on the core 3.5 fantasy system? Grappling a monster no longer requires you...

Cool suggestions for Calibans, Tobias. Do you have nearby the list of Deformity Feat you suggest? Since they are often brutish, because of their heritage or harsher education, could we say for abilities: + 2 Str, or Con +2 to One Ability Score: Half-orc characters get a +2 bonus to one ability scor...

Most of the Ravenloft 3e/3.5 doesn't seem hard to convert. I can't say how you'll find converting the Legend and Lair stuff. It depends on exactly what you want to convert. The favoured class mechanics, updated skills, feats, magic and maneuvers should be fine. The 3rd party classes will probably be...
