African Cluster.
I am currently working on a cluster based on African culture, which I think is very unrepresented in Ravenloft. It will have 4 domains total. The biomes will be a large savanna, a upland rain forest, mountains separating those two, and a mangrove swamp adjacent to the rain forest. I will happily sha...

Re: Pathfinder horror
I haven't played any of them, but I have reviewed several of them here: http://fraternityofshadows.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9359 I know that Joel has played the Skinsaw Murders and Haunting of Harrowstone in his campaign. I actually found your reviews after I posted this, well written! Tha...

Pathfinder horror
Has anyone run any of the Pathfinder horror adventures in Ravenloft? If so, how did it work out? I have been looking at sever of them, they look really well done.

Re: Stranger Things (Netflix)
I loved both seasons! Hopper and Dustin are my two favorite characters, but the whole show is solid. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

Re: Non-Ravenloft Adventure Modules
I have used the heart of the Night fang Spire from 3rd edition in my Ravenloft games, I set the Spire in the Mountains of Misery in Darkon.

Re: Van Richten's guide to Eldritch horror.
Normally, I would never bet against a Lovecraft villian. The absolute viciousness that Jacqueline displayed when dispatching her Grandfather, however, leads me to believe that she would come out ahead.

It's funny that you should mention that. My PCs are in Richemulot now. For an extended stay...

Re: What culture is Nova Vaasa based on?
I have always envisioned Kartakass as Switzerland. I do like that everyone has their own view of the domains.

Re: What culture is Nova Vaasa based on?
I agree, the Slavic influence is more appealing. Lamoridia works well as a Ravenloft Sweden, that's how I use it.

Re: What culture is Nova Vaasa based on?
That, is the major elephant in the room; I always felt that Tristen and Malken were out of place. With the rest of the domain, absolutely. I feel like the writers wanted the Jeckle/Hyde villian more than the rest of the domain was given details. There is a lot of possiblities for Nova Vaasa, but it...

What culture is Nova Vaasa based on?
The title really says it all. I see many of the cultural influences in Ravenloft, but Nova Vaasa stumps me. I thought there were Spanish influences there but upon reading more of the Gazetteer I'm not so sure.
