I mostly use skeletons and zombies because they can challenge the players to around tenth level. I'm thinking of using a zombie lord, I love the concept of the raise dead gone horribly wrong.

It's the only domain I know almost nothing about. I've searched high and low, but to no avail. Please help me.

I know it came from Athas, but I don't know the darklord. What did he/she/it/they do to deserve darklordship? What is the curse?

Negative Van Richten would be a vampire himself. Posibly the darklord of his own domain. You could still have darklords, just everyones personality is opposite of what it should be. I think some of the material could be adapted for ravenloft (a mournland domain with the Lord of Blades as darklord, the warforged could be all that's left after an ancient war).

But some people tell me I'm crazy. Perhaps, but I still like my ideas.

Sadly, by the time I got in to ravenloft and other campaigns, the kargatane was already gone. I wish I could have seen it whole, and not just the burnt-out shell it is now.
