http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4ex/20081117a Demiplanes The last regular type of plane is a demiplane—a unique place where anything might be encountered. Like astral dominions or elemental realms, demiplanes are things created by some power or agency after the formation of the world. They ...

I am glad the fixed the death-kitten scenario..... Or the death-rat and death-horse scenario. I knew a player who, back in 2E, got caught by a startled horse that was rearing up. The horse slammed him in the face with both hooves and killed him. That one is realistic, but man, talk about an inglori...

Hey there, Strahdsbuddy. I'm one of the people who helped build PotM. :) I advertised it here quite a bit when we first opened up, but I've been so busy adminstering our forums and building areas that it's taken up a lot of my time as of late. Feel free to stop by and check us out, though. :) When ...

- So the Joker throws Rachel out of the window and then leaves without anything more? Was he supposed to wait around for Batman to get back up there and capture him? - Or who built the Batsonar in like three days? Same people who're building the Batcave, built his secret base in Gotham, etc. Wayne ...

Domains of Dread: Sunderheart, the Funeral City By Matthew Sernett Ruled by a twisted darklord split in half by her terrible betrayal, finding this realm in the Shadowfell isn't that difficult, but escaping is almost impossible. Hmm. Looks like the "Domains of Dread" may be new, and aren'...

I actually tried that out, once. It was alright. Really wish they'd update to NWN2, though. Vastly superior to NWN.

Yeah, I'm dying to play a "Night of the Living Dead" scenario with the PC's fighting off hordes of zombies.

Love Donkey Kong, Galaga, and Joust so much that I've got them downloaded on my laptop and use emulators to play them. Filthy barrel throwing ape. I never get tired of seeing him get his.

So anyone use the Battlegrounds online game table?

Here's the website. I tried Fantasy Grounds, and after $46 spent on it, I decided it wasn't worth $46. Battlegrounds, however, looks more promising. For one, there's an actual map attached to it. Fantasy Grounds was a pain when it came to positioning and players moving their characters around the m...

Like Nathan said, we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions about what the article will be like. Good points all around, Rotipher. Thank you for helping sooth the raging nerdbeast beating within my breast. :) I remember reading a hilarious quote a while back, and it's something I usually try to live b...

I wrote the author of Madness in harmony, and he was kind enough to write me back. That book is canceled too, even thoug it is finished!! He told me this. This is a sad day for Ravenloft. :( Agreed. That's an immense shame. I was incredibly excited when I first heard about this novel line, so seein...

First, let's not get in a lather about hating "4e Ravenloft" until we get the actual Dragon article in front of us.

Heh, good advice. Sorry.

Buyers should have high standards and should take their money elsewhere when it would give them better results. I do have higher standards. That's why I'm wholeheartedly supporting the 4E rules system financially. :P While I love the ruleset, I'm not to keen on what they've done to the Realms and R...

The Shadowfell and Feywild, however, are different. There aren't all-encompassing Feywild and Shadowfell planes. Instead, there's countless such planes, one for each world. The 4e cosmology, as presented so far, isn't a multiverse. There's only 1 material world ( the world), hence only 1 Shadowfell...

Without any more information that you have, Lord Soth... I'd say it's a variation on Deep Ethereal vs. Boarder Ethereal... The Domains of Dread are all located within the Mists of Shadowfell, or whatever, which connect one to another, and makes them harder to escape. Just an idea... Hmm. Let's say ...
