Frankly, I see no problem with bards per se in Ravenloft, have used several, and think there should be a whole slew of them running around Kartakass- without the silly DoD caveat about them all being narrulv. I actually cooked up quite a lot of ToUD stuff and even a few post-ToUD ideas, much of which I haven't yet had the chance to use. Unfortunately, it probably requires enough explanation and ties closely to my own campaigns' background that I'm not sure it would be very useful to you as a whole.
