Surprised that I didn't find anything about this book on this forum. Just got my Shadows of Esteren book in the mail and it is very much a pretty book. Haven't gotten to far in the ruleset yet, but the setting has been described to me as a cross between Ravenloft and Call of Cthulhu. Anyone else get...

Love the concept and I always like supporting Japanese inspired settings, but not being a fan of Pathfinder in the slightest, much setting fluff will there be compared to Pathfinder crunch?

I was more excited about the mention that some Ravenloft is coming to DDI. When and what, they wouldn't say.

I like what they are saying in the abilities seminar.

I really don't know how they will pull off what they I think they are trying to do, but if they have a Ravenloft(Gothic Horror) mod in the rules, then I can get behind a new edition. Still like 4th though and wished we could of seen the Ravenloft RPG they were working on.

It was so hard to choose between Ravenloft and Mystara. Wish we had two votes.

Just because it reminded me of Ravenloft, I picked up the fat pack and the intro decks. Makes me wish they do a 4ed crossover with Innistrad since they put Ravenloft back on the shelf.

What they have done with Dark Sun 4th edition makes me believe that they can do the classic settings right. The question I am asking, is what is more important, the actual setting of Ravenloft( the domains, the way the mists act, the Dark Powers, etc.) or the themes of Gothic/Fantasy Horror that Rav...

In issue 372 of the online Dragon magazine, there is a epic destiny to become a Darklord in Shadowfell. While I liked it myself, it is really dosen't say Ravenloft to me since it is not a punishment, if not desirable.. It was mentioned in one of the threads on the WOTC forums about campaign settings...
