Vindhåre (“wind-manes”) are the fastest breed of horses in the known world. The best among them become celebrated race horses which, should they survive the rigours of competition, have a long life ahead of them as breeders. They are coveted by aristocrats with a passion for speed and spirit. They can be trained as light warhorses, but a skilled hand, as they are ill-tempered, and a deep pocket, as they never come cheaply, are prerequisites. They are native to the Tordenmark of Nova Vaasa.[1] Only gelded instances of the creature are available for legal export.[2]
