Tvashti (population 2100[1][2] as of the mid to late 750s BC) is a town located on the western shores of the Damuhm River in Sri Raji[3]. Reflecting the town's deep appreciation for science and knowledge[3], Tvashti is the home of the University of Tvashti[1][2]. The University itself centers around a temple dedicated to Tvashtri, the deity of science and invention[3].
Tvashti is ruled by the Triad of Scholars.[4]
Although Tvashti is the least populous of Sri Raji's major communities, its people enjoy a better life than those of its larger siblings Pakat and Muladi[3].

In recent years Tvashti has been increasingly often called Tvashtipur, just because the foreigners can't keep straight the difference between Tvashti (the city), Tvashsti (another name for the city), and Tvashtri (the deity).[5]
