The Poisonned Chalace is a successful ballet by Kurst Vacheq that pales, however, in comparison with his masterpiece Raven Field. The work was first staged in a stripped down form by Le Ballet National du Dementlieu in 744 BC. It was well received by the Dementlieuse public if not by the Dementlieuse critics. Following the tremendous reception given to Raven Field by the Borcan public in 745 BC, The Poisoned Chalice was staged in its full splender in Levkarest in 747 BC. It was very well received. Sadly, Vacheq's death preceded its opening by a handful of days.
