Based upon the police force of his homeland of Brigalure, Azrael Dak organized his secret police in Sithicus and named them the Politskarae (singular, Politskara). Their two missions are fairly simple^[1]:

• 1) to make sure Azrael Dak benefits from every transaction (eg. collecting taxes;
• 2) to punish those who transgress against him.

Apart from this, Politskarae are left to their own devices with little oversight. They remain loyal to Dak because they receive generous payment and may abuse and exploit the Sithican public as they will.^[1]

The trademark weapon and mark of office of the Politskarae was a small silver axe^[2].

It may be worth noting that the Politskarae includes both humans and elves among its membership, who may at times be required to work in mixed groups.
