H.H. Holmes (no relation to Sherlock Holmes) was a very skilled doctor but also a ruthless serial killer, having murdered, mutilated, and tortured between 25 and 200 people in the World's Fair Hotel, what he called his "torture palace". On Gothic Earth, the sadistic pleasure he gains from such horrors draws him closer and closer to the embrace of the Red Death. He may already be a a servant of demilord rank.[1]
